What is online therapy?
Nostra Forza offers therapy online. Sometimes the step to seek help for your problems can be difficult. Anxiety, stress and depression symptoms can all be reasons to feel the need to talk to a psychologist. But besides the fact that it can be emotionally difficult, there can also be all kinds of practical objections. No time and limited possibilities to transport can be practical reasons to postpone the need to seek help. At the same time the problems pile up and seeing or finding a solution can become more and more difficult.
You are in contact with your online psychologist through email and video call, from wherever you want. You can start working on your problems by scheduling a session during an hour break at work, or you can follow your therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home. In this way, therapy online causes less stress and a more relaxed atmosphere. Other benefits are that you are not bound by standard working hours. You can, for example, agree with your psychologist to schedule your therapy sessions in the evening. This saves you time and costs. Because we have no waiting list, you can start working on your problems within just a few days. Virtually all mental health problems are treatable with therapy online. Nostra Forza offers online counselling, short-term psychological treatment and long-term online psychotherapy. The nature and severity of your problems determine the duration of treatment.

When you contact us through our contact form we will answer any questions you have beforehand through email or in a free online consultation session. During this session you can see who we are and experience whether you feel comfortable with online therapy.
In this session we will ask you some questions about your complaints and/or problems and what you expect from therapy. We will advise you in if and how we can help you.
In the intake session, we will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you into treatment. We will ask questions about your presenting concerns and problems, as well as your history and background. Most likely, you’ll find yourself talking about your current symptoms or struggles, as well saying a bit about your relationships, your interests, your strengths, and your goals.
Most importantly, in that first session, you will begin making a connection with your therapist. You should feel safe, accepted, respected,
and relatively comfortable.
When we come to a clear understanding of your problems, we will develop a treatment plan. In this plan we agree what will be the goal
of the therapy, what can be done and which form of treatment will be used to achieve this goal.
The treatment starts on the basis of formulated treatment goals and your chosen therapy. We are specialized in various evidence based online treatment methods, for example EMDR online therapy. During the course of treatment the treatment will be evaluated and adjusted as necessary.
To measure the effect of the therapy you might be prompted several times to fill in a questionnaire; prior, during and after the end of therapy. Together with you, the results of these measurements are discussed.
